1. GREAT BONDING WITH FRIENDS, YOUR PARTNER & FAMILY
If you've been following my instagram @miyukixt you will realise I have this tendency to cafe-hop everytime I meet up with my girlfriends, my boyfee, my cliques or even for family bonding. I cannot say I'm an absolute foodie when it comes to knowing where are the good food in Singapore, but I'm definitely an enthusiast! Whenever it comes to planning for dates and outings, I will definitely include research for good food places, irregardless of hawker food, fine-dining or which in this case, unique cafes in Singapore. And yes, I did my homework before I went these places. And behind all these beautiful photos, are my bunch of really enthusiastic friends, boyfee and family who are more than happy to visit these places with me!
It's so easy to find a good cafe in Singapore, you google and there are tons of articles and blogs featuring the popular cafes and the newly-opened ones! Don't sit around and wait for people to plan things, sometimes we have to take the initiative to do the job, and you'll never know, it may be an extra push to your friendship or even relationship after cafe-hopping!
2. A GOOD CHOICE FOR A FIRST DATE
3. RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS FOR PLACES TO GO WITH YOUR LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP PARTNER
Sometimes your long term relationship gets dry when both of you had been visiting the usual places in Singapore, a bit too often. And the motivation between both of you taking the initiative to meet each other is declining. Every time both of you meet, one of you will ask (usually the guy),"Eh, where you want to go?" or "What you want to eat?" And the girl replies, "Anything lor.", "You decide.", "I don't know."
Take this suggestion into consideration, to plan every outing and research on them TOGETHER so both of you will look forward to your next off days together and stop asking each other monotonous questions again and again. It sucks to hear the repetitive questions and answers from each other and soon, some of us - apparently many of us, would decide that this relationship is boring.
Add a little spice to your weekly dates by going to an unique cafe for the upcoming date! After that you guys can take pictures together, take a stroll by the street of cafes and tell your partner,"This cafe is interesting! We can come next week." And there you go, your next date planned!
Somehow I think that you won't run out of cafes to go since many, yes MANY, new cafes are sprouting out recently. And if you are sick of eating cafe food, you can always try others like researching for good hawker food in Singapore & other restaurants. You will be surprised how much good food you can find in Singapore. This is definitely one of my boyfee and I's favourite past time in our 6 years together. FOOD EXPLORATION TOGETHER!
4. EXQUISITE FOOD & GOOD AMBIENCE TO SIT & CHILL AFTER A HECTIC WEEK
Cafe-hopping is one of the best past time in Singapore, at least for me, because I get to sit and chill with my love ones in a comfortable environment, indulge in really exquisite food and satisfy my craving for a good cup of coffee. All my favourite things in one place!
Sometimes, your work is taking a toll for you, especially to my family and boyfee, so sometimes weekends or free off days during the weekdays are their special privileged days. I do not want to waste such precious time away, where I can actually plan a good outing for them to relax and chat over a good meal about their week, so there - my research and well-prepared list of cafes comes in very handy. I would usually plan a brunch outing so that they would not need to wake up so early since waking up early for work is already a chore, so they should be rewarded with extra hours of sleep on their off days! And yes, plus point again, cafes usually offer brunch menus! SO DON'T BE WORRIED if you think you can't eat your favourite big breakfast because you missed the morning birds benefit!
5. GETTING A PERFECT #OOTD PICTURE FOR YOUR INSTAGRAM
THESE PLACES USUALLY HAVE PERFECT #OOTD BACKGROUNDS. That's the bonus! HAHA! These cafes are usually located at places with really nice backgrounds, so you're spoilt with choices for where you want to take your pictures at. Trust me, you and your friends can sometimes spent up to an hour taking pictures. Because I've been through it! So much bonding with my friends, even with my boyfee, while taking pictures and you get to keep these memories for life and add some colours to your instagram!
